Raytracer

This project was a 3D raytracer. It used SFML to create a window ontop of which it performed it’s own rendering process using a raytracer.

The features of the raytacer included:

  • OBJ model loading
  • Texturing
  • Point lighting
  • Area Lighting
  • Shadows
  • A two level Bounding Volume Hierachy for collision optimisation
  • A multi threaded rendering process for optimisation

This project was built alongside Plant Generator in DX11 and a Face Autoencoder.
