The twelfth CGD blog post about Don’t Walk By
This week I continued on the door system, adding opening and closing functionality to them.
To make the doors open when the pawns path into them, I set it up so that the door would swap to its other facing sprite when a pawn hit it’s trigger and it isn’t already open. Then once the door was open I started a timer which when it reached 0 the door would close.
Unfortunately, the doors do not have an actual opening animation so the sprite swap will have to do.
